ABOUT

Based in the West Midlands, Charlotte is a 1st Class Textile Design graduate from Birmingham City University. Highly positive and enthusiastic, she has received awards for her studentship and engagement within university, and particularly thrives in a collaborative atmosphere.

Specialising in surface pattern design, she has a flexible approach to design and enjoys adapting her creativity to diverse projects. Charlotte utilises a variety of processes to produce prints- ranging from traditional, intricate hand drawn qualities to experimental photography and digital manipulation. She is passionate about pushing the boundaries of digital design. Throughout her degree, Charlotte has journeyed towards designing for interior fabrics and wallpapers. Her experimental interiors collection from a collaboration with Epson and Dulux was showcased at FESPA 2019, and was also featured in Earth Island UK’s blog.

​Forward-thinking and conscious of the  textile industry- she based her dissertation upon the digitisation of the fashion and textile sector, considering the immense impact of Covid-19, and is eager to enter the ever-changing world of design.
